Living in rural Maine, my work is often inspired by my  surroundings. Realism is my most chosen mode of communication and is my form of intimacy with the subjects that I choose to create. My aim is to stir memories with paint and drawing media; to draw the viewer in with naturalism but have them stay for the nostalgia. I am continually growing and learning as an artist and regularly try new materials and techniques so that I can incorporate them into my style.
